November 2006
Some excercises for Hugg at the age of 3 months

We had a great holiday in the Pyreneeen in Spain. We just love being in the mountains and Mabel and Peer agree to that.  July 2006

Mabel en Peer vinden het, net als wij, heerlijk om in de bergen te zijn.

De eerste puppiefoto werd gemaakt door onze dierenarts op 4 augustus 2006
meteen na terugkomst uit Spanje

Both Peer (up) and Mabel (down) 1Exc. Open Class

Mother Mabel (4 years now) with her 2 sons Peer and Daan (2 years)
Daan came to visit us at Collie Club Match  April 2006.

CAC/BOB/BIS on the French Collie Club Main Show

Peer is proud of his father.

Typical Dutch?... I don't know, but we like it.

Peer at the age of 22 months

Waiting is not that easy ...

Wisse at 18 months

Peer is proud of his pretty sister on the left (Wisse)

Peer prefers comfortable things in life,
while Mabel has supervision
from the inside of the tent.

Smooth collies swimming in the water ...
many don't like it.
Peer only dares to wet his feet
to steal the stick (maybe next year),
but Mabel is accustomed to it ... at long last.

Peer and Daan (Mooncradle Fire Dance) almost 1 year now,
did very well at Champion ClubMatch Collies - April 17 -05.
Number 3 excellent and 2 excellent in Youth.
And so did Mabel almost 3 years (right picture),
Number 2 excellent Open Class.

Wisse (above), Wisse-Peer (both 9 months) and Mabel (right)
We visited Mooncradle Samain Night (Wisse) and her owners who live at one of the Isles in the North  of the Netherlands. Wisse is a very kind, strong bitch. She liked to run and play with Peer and the children.
Mabel turned out to be bossy that day and didn't play with her kids.

Mabel (left picture) flying in the air -
Peer, 9 months, (beneath) always likes
to jump.

Peer are you tired already? (left picture)

Mabel and Peer always join us during our holidays. They love being outside so many hours of the day. Walking and playing with us and our children.

Mother and son like eachother although Mabel sometimes gets tired of Peer, who always likes to play with her .... and he is getting that strong!

After 'playing' with the sheep we went to the beach,
so they could run and play together.
And we liked to see Daan again, he has become such a great dog.

We visited a workshop sheep-guarding.
All dogs liked the sheep... smooths performed better than rough collies. Daan (Mooncradle Fire Dance) and Peer (Mooncradle Standing Stones) did a very good job ... they became number one and two !
"Both talented dogs", the trainer said.
Mabel did not even dare to think about chasing sheep ... too educated already.

Mabel succeeded her exam agility for experienced very well. She became number one of the group and gained 182 points (of 185) in 67 seconds.

After a Winter-break we will continue, because she likes it very much and so does Anneke.
Peer tired after show,by the way ... he enjoys small things in life !

Peer is Best Pup Winner 2004 !!!

Mr. T. Thorn, the judge said about Peer:

"Lovely outline, good size and type.
Very typical head, eyes and ears,
strong neck.
Good front.
Ideal chest and body for 7 months.
Correct angulation.
Good mover for age of 7 months.
Very promising"

But ... a little lazy!

Mabel did wonderfull at the Winner in Amsterdam.
She became number one in Open Class.

" I'm a big boy now! "
Mammy Mabel can be proud of her son.

Peer passed his exam Obedient Dog.

Peer, 6 1/2 months, was number one of the youngsters. He liked to show and watch all things happening around him.

"We are just waiting... you never know !"

It's not an easy job making a picture of the group
...  they obviously prefer the playing part!
